Workshop: Illustrated Memoir

Get started on telling your story in the Illustrated Memoir workshop, led by Margo Hammond. Inspired by the jarring juxtaposition of images by Marcel Duchamp and other Surrealists and the visual diary of Frida Kahlo, author and editor Margo Hammond will help you create the first page of your own illustrated  memoir by combining the art of collage with the power of the written word. All supplies — paper, glue, collage images and pen — will be provided. No prior artistic training needed. Just bring a quote that best reflects your philosophy of life.
